Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Williamson Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for performing cardiopulmonary and neurological diagnostic studies and providing pulmonary therapeutic modalities for assigned inpatients and outpatients.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments on patients to identify problems and needs
  • Plan and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs
  • Administer and document medications and patient responses according to established procedures
  • Reassess patient conditions, evaluate responses, and communicate with the care team as necessary
  • Provide patient education and discharge planning as appropriate
  • Maintain a healing and therapeutic environment for patients and families
  • Monitor and maintain equipment and supplies
Requirements:
  • Earned a Cardio Respiratory Care diploma or degree from a college or university
  • Registered/Certified by the NBRC or 1 year of Respiratory Care experience
  • Tennessee State license with ABG endorsed
  • NRP, PALS, ACLS certified within 6 months of hire
  • BLS within 90 days of hire
Work Environment:

Office and all areas pertinent to Respiratory Therapy

Physical Effort:
  • Communicates in English both verbally and in writing
  • Able to stand and walk for up to twelve hours a day
  • Able to lift with assistance up to 250 lbs
Performance Standards:
  • Performs comprehensive assessments on all patients
  • Plans and implements individualized care plans
  • Administers and documents medications and patient responses
  • Reassesses patient conditions and evaluates responses
  • Provides patient education and discharge planning
  • Maintains a healing and therapeutic environment
  • Monitors and maintains equipment and supplies
