Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Williamson Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for performing cardiopulmonary and neurological diagnostic studies and providing pulmonary therapeutic modalities for assigned inpatients and outpatients.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments on patients to identify problems and needs
  • Plan and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs
  • Administer and document medications and patient responses according to established procedures
  • Reassess patient conditions, evaluate responses, and communicate with the care team as necessary
  • Provide patient education and discharge planning as appropriate
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, and verify proper functioning
Requirements:
  • Earned a Cardio Respiratory Care diploma or degree from a college or university
  • Registered/Certified by the NBRC or 1 year of Respiratory Care experience
  • Tennessee State license with ABG endorsed
  • NRP, PALS, ACLS certified within 6 months of hire
  • BLS within 90 days of hire
Work Environment:

Office and all areas pertinent to Respiratory Therapy

Physical Effort:
  • Communicates in English both verbally and in writing
  • Able to stand and walk for up to twelve hours a day
  • Able to lift with assistance up to 250 lbs
Performance Standards:
  1. Performs comprehensive assessments on all patients
  2. Plans and implements individualized care plans
  3. Administers and documents medications and patient responses
  4. Reassesses patient conditions and evaluates responses
  5. Provides patient education and discharge planning
  6. Maintains equipment and supplies
