The Field Services Manager is a key leadership role within Enviri Corporation, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of Environmental Technicians working in the field and within facilities. Key Responsibilities:- Team Management: Manage the day-to-day activities of Environmental Technicians, including conducting regular quality assurance visits to customer sites, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Partnerships and Collaboration: Partner with the sales team to conduct job walks, prepare estimates, and pricing, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Documentation and Compliance: Ensure that all required documentation is complete and accurate, meeting state, federal, EPA, DOT, and DEA regulations, as well as customer agreements.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of staff against guidelines, applying corrective actions as needed, and conducting weekly meetings to provide updates and address issues.
- Training and Development: Assist in the development and modification of field Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring the implementation of best practices throughout all Field Services staff.
- Recruitment and Talent Management: Hire, train, coach, counsel, motivate, discipline, and, when necessary, terminate subordinate team members, participating in annual goal setting and performance appraisal processes.
- Reporting and Communication: Provide regular and ad-hoc reports to management, assisting with store and distribution center inspections, and serving as a liaison among Sales, Office Operations, and Field Services.
- Problem-Solving and Ownership: Manage exceptions in the field, resolve atypical problems, and accept ownership of controlled pharmaceuticals on behalf of Clean Earth.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: Five or more years of experience in lab packing, segregating pharmaceutical waste, chemical service specialist, or as a truck driver
- Qualifications: Valid driver's license, hazardous waste processing experience, two or more years of field management experience, willingness to accept ownership of controlled pharmaceuticals, and ability to properly classify controlled substances by DEA guidelines
