Lucid Motors is seeking a passionate and experienced Instructional Design Manager to lead our team in developing and delivering world-class training programs for our sales force. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of automotive education within our rapidly growing company.

As the Instructional Design Manager, you will be responsible for crafting engaging and effective learning experiences that empower our sales team to excel. You will lead a talented team of instructional designers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement while ensuring alignment with Lucid Motors' strategic objectives.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Instructional Strategies: Design and implement innovative training strategies and methodologies that cater to diverse learning styles and needs. Leverage industry-leading models like ADDIE, SAM, and Kirkpatrick to create impactful learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts: Partner closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and content specialists to transform complex information into compelling eLearning modules, workshops, and other engaging training formats.
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS): Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our LMS platform, ensuring it serves as a seamless and effective hub for delivering and tracking training programs.
  • Measure Training Effectiveness: Develop and implement metrics to assess the impact of training initiatives, utilizing participant feedback, performance data, and ROI analysis to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead and Mentor Your Team: Provide guidance, support, and performance management to a team of instructional designers, fostering their professional growth and cultivating a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Learning and Development, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in instructional design, learning and development, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing a training or educational team.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning theories.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience developing engaging eLearning modules, workshops, and other training materials.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
