Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovative Product Development: Develop and implement innovative product designs that meet customer needs and exceed industry expectations.
  • Customer-Centric Solutions: Translate customer needs into design solutions that align with client expectations and internal standards.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead technical design initiatives, including the creation of 3D CAD models, 2D schematics, and simulation execution.
  • Prototype Construction: Build and assess prototypes, manage BOMs, liaise with suppliers, and devise comprehensive testing strategies.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough competitor analysis and present key insights to inform design improvements.
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and oversee the management of technology projects, ensuring seamless integration and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Industry Experience: Over 4 years of experience in product engineering and design, particularly within the automotive sector.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees are advantageous.
  • CAD Proficiency: Expertise in CAD software, with a preference for CREO, and skilled in creating 2D drawings with GD&T.
  • Manufacturability Design: Strong background in design for manufacturability, with additional experience in designing injection-molded components preferred.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in mechatronics and knowledge of simulation software are highly desirable.
