About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Department Manager to join our team at McDonald's. As a key member of our restaurant management team, you will be responsible for leading shifts, managing assigned systems, and ensuring that our customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience every visit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead shifts and manage assigned systems, including Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management
  • Set goals, delegate tasks to team members, and follow up on results
  • Ensure that all service staff are trained in service procedures and that the Front Counter, McCaf, and Drive-Thru areas are organized for optimal service
  • Manage kitchen staff to ensure delivery of high-quality food to customers, fast and safely
  • Control food cost and ensure that all kitchen staff are trained in production procedures
  • Recruit, train, and schedule crew members to meet restaurant sales and profit goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
