We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Holland Hospital. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain patient information and vital signs, and assist the physician with patient follow-up calls and test results.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, and coordinate patient care information with other healthcare providers.
- Provide phone support, including answering calls, creating telephone encounters, and scheduling appointments.
- Assist with clerical tasks, such as data entry and filing, as needed.
- Support quality improvement activities and ensure compliance with policy, procedure, and regulatory requirements.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration or LPN required.
- BLS for the Healthcare Provider 60 days after hire required.
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant or LPN training program preferred.
