Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain patient information and vital signs, and assist the physician with patient follow-up calls and test results.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, and coordinate patient care information with other healthcare providers.
  • Provide phone support, including answering calls, creating telephone encounters, and scheduling appointments.
  • Assist with clerical tasks, such as data entry and filing, as needed.
  • Support quality improvement activities and ensure compliance with policy, procedure, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration or LPN required.
  • BLS for the Healthcare Provider 60 days after hire required.
  • Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant or LPN training program preferred.
