  • Railcar Maintenance: Adheres to established repair protocols and performs detailed inspections to guarantee compliance with industry standards.
  • Client Relations: Strives to achieve customer satisfaction by fulfilling all service expectations and requirements.
  • Administrative Responsibilities: Accurately completes all necessary documentation and paperwork.
  • Certifications: Maintains and acquires essential certifications, demonstrating a thorough understanding of AAR guidelines and regulations.
  • Additional Duties: Open to undertaking any extra responsibilities assigned by management.

General Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Mechanical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills. Proficient in the use of hand tools for repairs.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication abilities and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Safety Awareness: A strong dedication to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to proper procedures.
  • Physical Capabilities: Must be able to perform tasks in various weather conditions, lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stoop and kneel for extended periods, wear a respirator, and climb ladders.
  • Lifting: Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working at elevated heights.
  • Confined Space Work: Comfortable working in tight areas and small openings.
  • Health Assessment: Must successfully complete the company’s physical examination for employment.
