Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Specialist to join our team at BGSF. The ideal candidate will have experience in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical trades, with a strong focus on maintenance and repair work.

The Building Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for performing skilled-level assignments in trades such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of buildings and structures. This includes installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and related components.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, and be able to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform skilled-level assignments in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing trades
  • Install, inspect, repair, and maintain building systems and related components
  • Diagnose problems and implement effective solutions
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Ensure safety and quality in all work

Requirements:

  • Two years' experience in semi-skilled and skilled electrical, HVAC, plumbing construction, maintenance, and/or repair work
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid refrigerant recovery certificate
  • Valid Driver's License

Work Environment:

This position works indoors and outdoors, and may be exposed to extreme temperatures, heights, and hazardous materials. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
