Key Responsibilities

  • Manage overall branch operations to ensure peak efficiency.
  • Build and maintain sustainable client relationships through effective communication and swift issue resolution.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations (HACCP, OSHA), personnel management, security measures, pest control, and inventory shrinkage policies.
  • Review financial and operational reports to drive necessary improvements.
  • Oversee warehouse functions including safety, cleanliness, inventory management, merchandising, order processing, and customer service.
  • Set and monitor service standards and operational objectives for the branch.
  • Enhance sales strategies by delivering exceptional customer service within budgetary constraints.
  • Supervise the recruitment, performance evaluation, and professional growth of management personnel.
  • Address employee relations matters such as promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions.
  • Coordinate with Corporate Offices to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Conduct regular inventory assessments to ensure product accuracy and availability.

Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of management experience in food service or grocery distribution.
  • Demonstrated success in managing a high-volume warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with P&L management, inventory oversight, merchandising, staffing, cash handling, payroll, and loss prevention.
  • Ability to foster strong business relationships with clients.
  • Knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations.
  • Experience in supervising assistant branch managers and department heads.
  • Proficient in timely and accurate report generation.
