We are currently seeking a Branch Manager for our St. Paul, Minnesota location. This pivotal role demands a seasoned expert with a comprehensive grasp of supply chain logistics, quality assurance, and food safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall branch operations to ensure peak efficiency.
- Build and maintain sustainable client relationships through effective communication and swift issue resolution.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations (HACCP, OSHA), personnel management, security measures, pest control, and inventory shrinkage policies.
- Review financial and operational reports to drive necessary improvements.
- Oversee warehouse functions including safety, cleanliness, inventory management, merchandising, order processing, and customer service.
- Set and monitor service standards and operational objectives for the branch.
- Enhance sales strategies by delivering exceptional customer service within budgetary constraints.
- Supervise the recruitment, performance evaluation, and professional growth of management personnel.
- Address employee relations matters such as promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions.
- Coordinate with Corporate Offices to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Conduct regular inventory assessments to ensure product accuracy and availability.
Qualifications
- At least 4 years of management experience in food service or grocery distribution.
- Demonstrated success in managing a high-volume warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with P&L management, inventory oversight, merchandising, staffing, cash handling, payroll, and loss prevention.
- Ability to foster strong business relationships with clients.
- Knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations.
- Experience in supervising assistant branch managers and department heads.
- Proficient in timely and accurate report generation.
