Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our resort's mechanical systems, performing routine maintenance tasks, and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of equipment, and visual inspections of tools and machinery
  • Identify and address maintenance issues, and communicate with guests and colleagues as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory levels
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operation of resort facilities
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in general maintenance or a related field preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move equipment as needed
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance
  • Knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and other related systems
