Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
- Develop and implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Conduct background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Administer and execute human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Provide HR support to employees, supervisors, and management.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional HR experience in a generalist capacity.
- HRIS experience - application implementation - a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Thorough knowledge of federal/local labor laws and regulations.
- Ability to generate HR reporting and data analysis.
- Assist with reviewing and creating new HR-related policies.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Human resources management: 5 years (Preferred)
