Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Hazen and Sawyer. The successful candidate will provide electrical engineering and design for water and wastewater facility projects, serving as lead electrical engineer when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor less experienced staff on project teams
  • Collaborate with engineers from other disciplines to ensure seamless project execution
  • Conduct field inspections of completed installations to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Perform field visits to assess project conditions and provide design recommendations

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in industrial electrical engineering and design
  • Proficiency in Autocad, SKM, and ETAP software
  • Working knowledge of Revit BIM software
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related degree
  • Professional Engineering License
  • Ability to obtain licenses in additional states as required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with instrumentation and control systems, including field and panel instruments, operator interfaces, and PLCs
  • Experience within the water and wastewater industry
