Job Summary:

Bowls Holdings Nashville LLC is a leading entertainment and dining destination, renowned for its unique blend of music, bowling, and fine cuisine. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our culinary department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and process used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
  • Operate and maintain dish washing machines, ensuring optimal performance and hygiene
  • Wash and sanitize specific items by hand, including wooden cutting boards, large pots, and delicate china
  • Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment in a clean and organized manner
  • Set up workstations before meal preparation begins, ensuring a smooth and efficient service
  • Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies stock, replacing as necessary
  • Check washing machines' operation and report any technical issues to management
  • Remove garbage regularly and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment
  • Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor, to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Dishwasher in a fine dining, hospitality, or casual dining restaurant
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 70 lbs, and perform bending, climbing, or working in confined spaces
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Organizational and time management skills, with good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • State-issued Health Card
  • Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines
  • Ability to follow instructions and assist with various tasks as needed
  • Attention to detail and sanitation rules
  • Availability to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings

  • Fast-paced working environment, often loud and stressful
  • Extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet
