About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join our team at Apple. As an Instructional Designer, you will play a key role in creating dynamic customer-facing materials for software, hardware, and services products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop clear and engaging content for a variety of formats, including user guides, tips, and other instructional materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, UX designers, and project managers, to design and develop instructional content.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop innovative solutions.
  • Write and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Work with designers and engineers to create visually appealing and user-friendly content.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet aggressive deadlines.
Requirements
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to distill complex topics into simple and friendly language.
  • Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Four years of experience creating end-user instructional materials, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with software engineers, UX designers, and project managers.
  • Experience balancing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting aggressive timelines.
  • Experience in information design, user experience design, data analysis, usability testing, human interface design, and/or prototyping.
