Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Circuit Design Engineer to join our team at Apple Inc. as an ASIC Design Engineer. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex digital circuits for next-generation Apple products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Chip Architecture Definition: Collaborate with system and architecture teams to define chip requirements and develop detailed uArch specifications for digital block functions.
  • RTL Design and Simulation: Implement digital functions in Verilog RTL to specification and utilize state-of-the-art low power design techniques to achieve aggressive power targets.
  • Design Integration: Perform all design integration activities, including lint, CDC, RDC, synthesis, and ECO.
  • Collaboration: Work with physical design teams to resolve STA, physical, power, and logical issues, and collaborate with internal and cross-functional firmware, Si validation, and system stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in digital circuit design and development.
  • Skills: Knowledge of best practices for digital logic implementation, experience with low power design methodology, and proficiency in industry-standard design tools and flows.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in processor subsystems, high-speed serial interfaces, or DSP.
  • Skills: Experience with on-chip bus protocols, design verification methodology, and ASIC test methodology.
Compensation and Benefits

Apple offers a competitive base pay range of $175,800 to $312,200, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, employees are eligible for discretionary bonuses, commission payments, and relocation assistance. Apple also offers comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, and a range of discounted products and services.
