Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Tech Visualizer, Designer & Writer to join our team at Etched. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating machine intelligence that is understandable by humans and easily usable by humans. You will work closely with our engineering team to develop visualizations, designs, and documentation that showcase the capabilities of our AI chips.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design UI/UX for powerful LLMs that go beyond traditional chatbots
  • Develop interactive Google Colab-based demos for both hardware and software ML products
  • Implement doc-gen systems like Python Sphinx for APIs and references
  • Write tutorials and quickstart guides
  • Visualize continuous batching for LLM inference
Requirements
  • Excited and optimistic about AI
  • Hunger to learn and use AI day to day
  • Passionate about open source software and models
  • Comfortable with reading and writing code, using CLI, scripting
  • An exceptional communicator, both verbal and written
  • A strong portfolio of UI designs and visualization
  • Strong mathematical background, especially linear algebra
  • The ability to understand and visualize abstract concepts rooted in academic research
