Cardiology Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our Interventional Cardiology Medical Group team in West Hills, California.

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in our Cardiology practice, working closely with our physicians to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient interviews, obtain medical history, and verify patient consent paperwork
  • Operate radiographic equipment and prepare patients for imaging procedures
  • Assess patient vital signs, establish IV access, and administer pharmacological stress agent medications
  • Apply ACLS measures to patients as directed by physicians
  • Review Nuclear Medicine images and collaborate with physicians to ensure accurate test readings
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices, compliance, and safety regulations in a Cardiology setting

Requirements:

  • 3 years' experience in an emergency care or cardiac setting
  • California Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
