Responsibilities:- Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring clients receive the necessary care and support to achieve their goals.
- Accompany clients on outings and community integration activities, promoting social interaction and engagement.
- Document client progress and behaviors accurately and thoroughly.
- Collaborate with supervisors, families, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
- Valid Texas Driver's License, reliable transportation, and current liability insurance are essential.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
