Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring clients receive the necessary care and support to achieve their goals.
  • Accompany clients on outings and community integration activities, promoting social interaction and engagement.
  • Document client progress and behaviors accurately and thoroughly.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, families, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License, reliable transportation, and current liability insurance are essential.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
