Job Summary

The E-Commerce Specialist is responsible for driving internet/web marketing activities that increase e-commerce business. This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in organizing, coordinating, and/or managing internal/external hotel(s) and/or marketing, advertising, promotion, and public relations projects.
  • Act as liaison between the hotel(s) and sales and marketing support outside agencies and contracted vendors/service providers.
  • Practice overall project coordination and monitor the cost and status of all related sales & marketing expense items.
  • Assist hotel(s) in the development and implementation of internal/external electronic communication.
  • Coordinate updates and assist in the oversight of hotel websites and hotel listings on third-party websites, including special promotions, accurate loading of hotel information, competitive analysis, trends, and recommendations.
  • Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned and participate in task forces and committees as requested.
Requirements
  • College degree preferred; at least one year of digital marketing, hotel marketing, or revenue management experience highly desired.
  • Able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to develop and deliver effective presentations.
  • Participate as part of a team.
  • Able to travel.
  • Possess computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
