Job Description

Scheels is seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control Manager to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory location audits to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Process customer returns and ensure accurate inventory reconciliation.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of our return-to-vendor process.
  • Collaborate with warehouse leaders to uphold inventory standards and best practices.
  • Receive and organize new inbound freight to ensure efficient stocking and shipping.
  • Contribute to the development of our inventory accuracy mission across multiple teams.
  • Work effectively during peak e-Commerce sales seasons, performing tasks such as picking and shipping customer orders.
  • Utilize Zebra TC-52 handhelds and Windows PC browser-based applications to manage inventory and perform tasks.
Requirements:
  • Experience with spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with exceptional time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Forward-thinking mindset with the ability to envision future growth and expansion.

Education and Experience: A bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Alternatively, equivalent practical experience in the field will be considered.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation. Very heavy work - Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
