About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented MRO Procurement Specialist to join our procurement team at Minth North America, Inc. The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation skills, the ability to build strong supplier relationships, and a thorough understanding of MRO purchasing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sourcing and Purchasing: Source and purchase MRO supplies, including spare parts, tools, equipment, and consumables required for maintenance, repair, and operations.
  2. Supplier Management: Evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate pricing and terms, and make purchasing decisions in accordance with company policies and budgetary constraints.
  3. Inventory Management: Maintain relationships with existing suppliers, identify new potential suppliers, and analyze inventory levels and usage patterns to optimize stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to understand their MRO supply requirements and develop procurement strategies to support their needs.
  5. Process Improvement: Monitor market trends, industry developments, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  2. Experience: Proven experience as an MRO Buyer or in a similar procurement role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  3. Skills: Strong negotiation skills, ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, and knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to MRO purchasing.
  4. Certifications: Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is a plus.
