Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Club Manager to lead our fitness center team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the club, ensuring a high-quality member experience, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of staff members, including Assistant Managers, Member Service Representatives, Trainers, and Custodians.
  • Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring staff follows superior customer service guidelines.
  • Lead by example, maintaining consistent accountability for direct reports, and ensure adherence to PF's values and goals.
  • Manage staff scheduling, payroll, and employee relations, including resolving conflicts and administering progressive discipline and termination as needed.
  • Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility, including daily cleaning and upkeep, and ensure the safety of employees, members, and club property.
  • Manage marketing efforts, ensuring staff is aware and trained on all marketing promotions, and authorize expenditures and refunds.
  • Prepare HR-related forms and send to Corporate HR and Payroll Team, track statistics and reports, and provide backup support for absent employees.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older, have a high school diploma/GED equivalent, and have a passion for fitness and health.
  • One to three years of experience in a management role preferred, with strong leadership, team building, and coaching skills.
  • Direct experience managing customer-focused teams in the fitness or similar industry, with exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and own reliable means of transportation.
Physical Demands

The Club Manager will be required to continually stand and walk, talk and listen in person or on the phone, and lift up to 50 pounds, bend, crouch, and reach on a daily basis. Occasional exposure to toxic chemicals may be encountered.
