Test Manager

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join Serco as a Test Manager for GPS modernization programs. As a Test Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing all Test and Evaluation related activities for multiple GPS modernization programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate planning, management, and oversight of all DT&E (contractor/government) activities
- Assist PM with making technically informed, objective judgments about contractor/government T&E planning and results
- Advise PM on test issues and responsibilities
- Active involvement in PDR, CDR, and Mission-Oriented Test Readiness Certification/contractor Test Readiness Reviews
- Coordinate development of T&E Strategy, TEMP, cyber strategy, and other T&E documentation; and assist with development of integrated T&E IMS
- Ensure Test IPTs, such as the Material Improvement Project Review Board and the Joint Reliability and Maintainability Evaluation Team, track and resolve deficiencies
- Ensure DT&E, OT&E, and LFT&E strategies are structured so design deficiencies uncovered during EMD are corrected before proceeding beyond LRIP
- Coordinate with the Product Support Manager and Integrated Test Team (ITT) to ensure program test planning/strategy development is integrated with system sustainment requirements as developed and documented in the program Life-Cycle Management Plan
- Participate in Technical Interchange Meetings, Program Technical Meetings, and other coordination meetings with the program office, test stakeholders, and contractor
- Draft ITT Charter; Chair the ITT and DT&E Test Readiness Review meetings
Requirements:
- A U.S. citizenship
- An active DoD Secret security clearance
- A Bachelor's degree
- 8 years related acquisition/test experience
- Knowledge of and experience working within AFLCMC Center Test Authority (CTA), DT (CTF) and OT (AFOTEC) organizational processes and operations
- A familiarization with Cybersecurity test requirements and processes
- Flexibility to travel 10%
- A Clear understanding of the OSD and USAF Acquisition organization
Additional Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Masters Degree
- Top Secret Clearance (or eligible)
- DAWIA T&E Certification
- Minimum of 4 years of focused test experience supporting a System Program Office
- Experience with function and integration of GPS/Navigational systems, electronics, and other aircraft subsystems
- Experience in PID/SOC and TEMP development processes
- Familiarity with software testing processes
