Lead Calibration Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Calibration Technician to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our calibration team, you will be responsible for managing the workflow and calibration of approximately 1,500 assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the calibration team for efforts such as calibrating electronic test measuring equipment, signal generating equipment, and proprietary equipment to conform to set standards.
- Empower the team to help modernize/develop test procedures for Northrop designed and maintained equipment items/test fixtures.
- Test, calibrate, adjust, and maintain electromechanical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, hydro mechanical, and pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments.
- Disassemble, clean, repair, and replace defective parts of test equipment.
Requirements:
- Experience managing and/or leading teams.
- Experience calibrating electronic Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment.
- Experience in a high energy/fast-paced metrology environment with good computer and communication skills.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- 3 years or more management experience.
- Knowledge with usage of various Measuring and Test Equipment Calibration Standards.
- Military Metrology training/education.
- Capable computer skills and experience with using Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of electronic equipment, troubleshooting concepts, and the ability to isolate issues down to the board level.
- Active Secret Clearance.
