Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to comprehend their financial objectives and propose fitting mortgage solutions.
  • Navigate clients through the mortgage process, covering pre-qualification, application, underwriting, and closing for both Purchase and Refinance Transactions.
  • Provide comprehensive information regarding available loan programs and products.
  • Assess clients' financial situations and creditworthiness to recommend appropriate mortgage alternatives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate professionals, and other referral sources.
  • Oversee the progress of loan applications, ensuring all documentation is accurately completed and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Address any inquiries or concerns clients may have throughout the loan process.
  • Collaborate with team members to facilitate smooth and efficient loan processing.
  • Achieve or surpass sales objectives and business development targets.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Manage your pipeline effectively to ensure the seamless progression of loans.

Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in mortgage lending or a comparable role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mortgage loan products, underwriting processes, and regulations.
  • Proven history of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage a loan pipeline effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Proficiency in mortgage software and related tools.
  • Must hold a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in the relevant state(s).
  • A client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
