Job Summary:

MedVet is seeking a skilled Client Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Client Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and leading our client service team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Service:
    • Greet and check-in clients in a professional and welcoming manner.
    • Answer telephones and transfer calls in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Escort clients and their pets to exam rooms in a safe and respectful manner.
    • Manage medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence in a secure and confidential manner.
    • Discuss payment options and process payments in a clear and concise manner.
    • Maintain a neat and clean lobby in a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Delegate tasks and assist team members as needed.
    • Monitor team performance and provide feedback and coaching as necessary.
    • Assist with hiring, training, and development of team members.
    • Handle complaints from staff and clients in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Ability to remain composed in stressful and emotional situations.
    • Ability to lead and motivate others.
    • Excellent client service skills, including verbal and written communication and phone etiquette.
    • Attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to work successfully as part of a team and autonomously.
    • Sense of urgency within a fast-paced environment.
    • Some flexibility with work hours and ability to work additional hours when necessary.
    • Critical thinking skills and ability to anticipate needs inter- and intra-departmentally.
    • Previous experience in a veterinary setting (preferred).
    • Prior supervisory experience.
