Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychiatric Charge Nurse (RN) to join our team at Tenet-Alabama. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing oversight and leadership to our nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Recruit, train, and develop nursing staff, promoting a culture of growth and development.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a psychiatric nursing setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
