We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at Tenet-Alabama. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and operations in the Neurology department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Ensure adequate staffing, supplies, and equipment are available to meet the needs of the department.
- Assist in providing direct nursing care to patients in the assigned area.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of patient care programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- 1 year of RN experience in a specialty area, preferably in Neurology.
- Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- CPR certification.
