Job Title: Advanced Practice Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Nurse to join our team at the Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team, and contribute to the development of our mental health services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and their families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in mental health care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, policies, and procedures in mental health care, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Michigan.
  • At least two years of experience in a behavioral health or mental health setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
