Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor of German to join our faculty pool. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching German language and culture courses at the College of the Canyons.

Responsibilities
  • Teach German language and culture courses to students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and achievement.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in German or a related field.
  • Experience teaching German language and culture courses.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in German or a related field.
  • Experience with curriculum development and implementation.
  • Knowledge of educational technology and its applications in the classroom.
