Career Personnel Services is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming invoices for payment and ensure accurate data entry
  • Responsible for 3-way matching invoices with purchase orders and preparing weekly payment reports
  • Collaborate with management to advise on necessary month-end expense accruals
  • Manage corporate purchasing credit card reconciliation and entry
  • Assist in expense report review process, including keying of foreign VAT/HST/GST expenses

Requirements:

  • High School diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including GP, Net Suite, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Customer service oriented and ability to work with complex issues

This is a contract assignment with the opportunity for permanent hire based on performance and reliability.
