About the Role
\We are seeking a dedicated Critical Care RN to join our team at Swedish Cherry Hill. As a member of our critical care unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
\Responsibilities

- Foster a culture of safety and quality within the unit\
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques\
- Assist with procedures, including intubations, tracheal suctioning, and hemodynamic monitoring\
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues\
- Stay up-to-date on local, national, and international guidelines for critical care\
- Collaborate with other departments, such as radiology, pharmacy, and social services, to ensure seamless patient care\
- Cultivate a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution skills\
- Prioritize tasks efficiently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities and situations\
- Support and participate in unit-based projects and initiatives to improve patient outcomes, satisfaction, and overall experience\
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and educational programs\
- Act as a resource and mentor to new staff members and students\
- Engage in performance improvement activities to identify areas for growth and optimize patient care processes\
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations\
- Document all incidents, near misses, and adverse events according to hospital policy\
- Participate in quality improvement projects, chart audits, and other initiatives aimed at improving patient care and outcomes\
- Attend required meetings, in-services, and training sessions to stay updated on policies, procedures, and best practices\
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams to address complex patient needs and ensure optimal care transitions\
- Effectively utilize technology, such as electronic medical records, to streamline documentation and communication\
- Establish open lines of communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and collaborative care\
