Medical Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Medical Assistant to join our team at Vascular Spec St Marks. As a Clinical Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking vital signs and obtaining patient histories.
- Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, including sterilization.
- Assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals, and provide injections and lab testing as needed.
- Answer phone calls and screen referrals to the practice.
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or one year of direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting.
- Active and unrevoked RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA certification/ABR-OE credentials is highly preferred.
