Mechatronics Engineer

Amazon Stores is seeking a skilled Mechatronics Engineer to maintain and repair equipment in our Richmond, VA warehouse. As an Automation Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE). You will work collaboratively with the Operations team to ensure seamless daily operations.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position with an estimated salary range of $65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures, as well as experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE) or related mechanical/controls equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE.
- Maintain a positive working relationship across the Amazon Stores facility.
- Track and store department inventory.
The selected candidate will work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays. We provide lightweight fire-resistant daily wear and composite toe safety shoes for your safety.
