Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Solutions Developer to join our Engineering team at Grantek Systems Integration. As a key member of the team, you will be developing real-time automation solutions from the manufacturing plant floor to the enterprise level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing real-time automation controls and information solutions using programming, configuration, and design tools.
  • Conceptualizing during the design phase of the project life cycle.
  • System programming, debugging, and testing.
  • Creating documentation, including project engineering notes, project proposals, project design traceability documentation, case studies, and more.
  • Commissioning new solutions at client sites; finding opportunities for improvements.
  • Mentoring colleagues on your expertise and knowledge base.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering Technology degree.
  • Academic or working experience with PLC Programming Platforms, HMI Platforms, SCADA Platforms, System Networking, Vision Platforms, and databases.
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • A valid Driver's License.
  • Full-time access to a personal vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30-50% (USA and Canada).
