Accounting Professor

The Eastern University College of Business and Leadership is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Assistant or Associate Professor of Accounting to join our faculty team.

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate educator to teach a variety of accounting courses in our business and accounting majors. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent teaching skills, and a commitment to excellence in scholarship and service.

• Teaching: Teach a range of accounting courses, including traditional and online programs, and develop online course content as needed.
• Advising: Serve as a faculty advisor for assigned students, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their academic goals.
• Scholarship and Service: Engage in scholarly activities, such as research and publication, and participate in university committees and service activities.
• Professional Development: Stay current with developments in the accounting field and maintain academic and practical competence.

• Terminal Degree: A doctorate in accounting or a related field is required.
• Professional Experience: Relevant accounting work experience and certification are preferred.
• Teaching Experience: Demonstrated excellence in teaching accounting at the undergraduate level and experience facilitating online courses.
• Skills: Proficiency in online learning tools and software platforms, and the ability to provide video content for online learners.
