Accounting Professor

Eastern University is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Assistant or Associate Professor of Accounting to join our faculty team. As a tenure-track faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching a variety of accounting courses, including financial accounting, managerial accounting, and taxation, in both traditional and online formats.

• Teach accounting courses to undergraduate students, including financial accounting, managerial accounting, and taxation.
• Develop and maintain online course content, including video lectures and assignments.
• Advise students on academic and career goals, and provide guidance on course selection and academic planning.
• Stay current with developments in the accounting field, and incorporate new knowledge and techniques into your teaching and research.
• Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and professional development activities.

• Terminal academic degree in accounting, such as a Ph.D. or DBA.
• Professional accounting certification, such as CPA or CMA.
• Teaching experience in accounting, preferably at the undergraduate level.
• Experience with online course development and delivery.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators.
