We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Records Coordinator to join our team at the Center for Developmentally Disabled. As a Records Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date personnel files, ensuring compliance with ADA specifications, and providing excellent customer service to our staff and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- File all paperwork as needed for the human resource department
- Sort and organize papers alphabetically and by content, dates, and significance for electronic filing
- Create electronic personnel files for new employees
- Maintain personnel files according to ADA specifications
- Ensure electronic documents are stored in designated systems according to best practices
- Enter paperwork into an electronic system using data entry or optical scanners
- Handle requests to access files and maintain confidentiality
- Assist with answering phone and prioritizing messages
- Partner with Recruiters to ensure required documentation is filed during onboarding
- Support training program to track completed training of all staff in electronic files and HRIS
- Work with supervisory team to ensure training checklists are received and filed
- Organize personnel records for audits and accreditations
The Center for Developmentally Disabled is a private, not-for-profit corporation serving adults and children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in the greater Kansas City, MO area.
