Mental Health Nurse

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT), you will provide recovery-focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment (including medications) as prescribed by the physician. You will provide safe, effective, and efficient implementation of direct care in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of care.
You will work with a diverse group of individuals, providing individualized care and support to help them achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives. You will also have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care and support to our residents.
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for education and professional development.

Key responsibilities of this role include:
• Providing direct care and support to residents, including administering medications, providing wound care, and assisting with daily living activities.
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each resident.
• Maintaining accurate and timely records of resident care and treatment, including progress notes, medication lists, and other relevant documentation.
• Participating in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in crisis residential services and other areas of mental health care.
• Working collaboratively with other members of the team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the program, including responding to emergencies, resolving conflicts, and providing support to colleagues as needed.
