Our client, a leading power distribution equipment manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of their Troy, MI facility. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring production targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and safety protocols are followed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and guide the manufacturing processes to meet/exceed customer expectations and achieve strategic growth plans.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the assembly area, ensuring production targets are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
  • Supervise a team of production workers, providing guidance, coaching, training, and support to ensure effective performance and adherence to production standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production-related issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing assembly processes, workflows, and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent and post-secondary education in a relevant field or a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in manufacturing management/supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes, equipment, and technologies, with experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on results and meeting production targets.
