Job Title: Dietary Aide

At JGS Lifecare, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our kitchen team. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to our residents by preparing and serving nutritious meals that cater to their individual needs.

About the Role:

This is a 40-hour per week position, with rotating weekends and opportunities for per-diem staff. You will work closely with our kitchen staff and residents to ensure a welcoming and inclusive dining experience. Your strong communication skills and empathy will enable you to connect with residents and enhance their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve meals to residents, accommodating specific dietary requirements
  • Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all safety and cleanliness standards are met
  • Interact with residents, providing companionship and enhancing their dining experience
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service
Requirements:
  • Prior kitchen experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy and patience when interacting with residents
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs
