Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to the production team to optimize manufacturing processes and systems.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address process-related issues.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain documentation of processes and procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall process efficiency.
- Currently enrolled in a chemical engineering degree program.
- Strong technical background and knowledge of processes, wet end chemistry, paper testing procedures, and Root Failure Cause analysis (RFCA) related to quality or process failures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to navigate through various manufacturing software platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The Process Engineer Intern will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve efficiency. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate effectively with colleagues and management, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
