Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement process sheets (work instructions) to manufacture products within established cost limits.
  • Update Bill of Materials (BOMs) to reflect changes and approved process improvements.
  • Define test parameters for electrical and mechanical integrity of products, ensuring safety, quality, and environmental considerations.
  • Implement and sustain Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) processes in engineering development projects.
  • Plan, document, and provide periodic status reports on test results, processes, and workflow improvements.
  • Generate PPAP packages, including Capability Studies, FMEA, and Control Plans.
  • Maintain awareness of customer requirements and complaints to identify areas needing development or improvement.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company rules.
Requirements:
  • Electronics assembly experience.
  • Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.
  • Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions skills.
  • PPAP and Lean Manufacturing expertise.
