Job Title: Recreation Assistant

LCB Senior Living, LLC is seeking a Recreation Assistant to join our team at The Residence at Brookside in Avon, CT.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and creative individual to assist in the planning, development, and implementation of activities for our residents. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning and development of activities for residents, including recreational and educational programs.
  • Coordinate and implement activities, including transportation and escort services for residents.
  • Maintain a professional and warm relationship with residents and their families.
  • Assist with maintaining and expanding volunteer programs.
  • Assist with maintaining adequate supplies and department budgets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in recreational therapy or a related field preferred.
  • Gerontology experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations in a three-year period.
