Job Summary:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide personalized and supportive care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. As a Home Care Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare nutritious meals based on clients' dietary preferences and restrictions.
  • Provide mobility assistance, including walking, transfers, and exercises as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Engage in friendly conversation, companionship, and recreational activities to promote emotional well-being.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, vacuuming, and maintaining a clean and organized living environment.
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands as needed.
  • Monitor clients' health conditions and report any changes to healthcare professionals or family members.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided, including daily activities, observations, and any changes in clients' conditions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other team members to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred.
  • Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow care plans and adapt to the changing needs of clients.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if transportation is required for the role).
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Working Conditions:

This position may require flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate clients' schedules. Home Care Aides may work independently or as part of a team, providing care in various home settings.
