Pharmacist (Full or Part Time)

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of our pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Patient Care: Offer empathetic and personalized consulting services to patients, educating them on medication usage, interactions, and awareness.
- Operate Pharmacy: Ensure the proper compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications, adhering to regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Support Pharmacy Operations: Assist the pharmacy manager in identifying ways to optimize pharmacy financials, inventory management, and enhance patient experience.
- Engage with Patients: Greet patients, offer assistance, and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring a positive patient experience.
- Participate in Community Outreach: Collaborate with local medical communities, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to promote the pharmacy business and enhance growth opportunities.
- Education: BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Licensure: Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
- Experience: At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
