Pharmacist (Full or Part Time)

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Duane Reade. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of our pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Patient Care: Offer expert advice and guidance to patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
- Dispense Medications: Accurately dispense prescribed medications, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Operate Pharmacy Systems: Maintain knowledge of pharmacy systems, including workflow, prescription fulfillment, billing, and clinical documentation.
- Support Team Members: Collaborate with pharmacy staff to optimize pharmacy financials, inventory management, and patient experience.
- Pharmacist Licensure: Current licensure in the states within the district.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, and pharmacy software and technology systems.
- Certifications: Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
