Job Title: RN Private Duty

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Caretenders - Owensboro Waiver. As a Private Duty RN, you will provide high-quality clinical services to patients in their homes, working closely with other healthcare professionals to achieve and maintain continuity of patient care.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience as an RN and be licensed to practice in the state of Kentucky. You will be responsible for completing clinical nursing assessments, developing and revising individualized plans of care, and ensuring the patient's eligibility and medical necessity for services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical services within the scope of practice and within infection control standards.
  • Complete clinical nursing assessments in accordance with federal and/or state program requirements.
  • Develop and revise individualized plans of care and/or service plans according to federal and/or state program requirements.
  • Ensure plan of care frequency and duration meets the needs of the patient and initiates plan of care revisions as needed with physician approval.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Kentucky.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
