MV Transportation is seeking an experienced Safety and Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining safety programs and procedures that meet State and Federal regulations and corporate policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Safety Programs: Create and implement safety programs and procedures that meet regulatory requirements and corporate policies.
  • Lead Safety Training: Provide training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Conduct Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and corporate policies.
  • Manage Safety Data and Reporting: Collect and analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and Implement Safety Incentives: Develop and implement safety incentives to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Teams: Work with corporate teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations and corporate policies.
Requirements
  • Transit Safety Experience: 3 years of experience in transit safety.
  • Education: College degree or 5+ years of safety management experience.
  • Certifications: CDS (Certified Director of Safety) and/or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) Designation.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of FTA, FMCSA, and DOT regulations.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills.
